My team and I finished up our ministry in Cambodia at Good Seed School last Wednesday, November 29. In our last few weeks of ministry, we taught our last couple classes and painted murals all throughout their new two story school building.  Our students and teachers threw us a surprise goodbye party served with several coconut cakes which was then followed by several tears. Saying bye to all of our students and fellow teachers was quite difficult, it was much anticipated that we would be sad when saying goodbye but nothing really could have prepared me for saying goodbye to my students I’m not gonna see again. I think that is the hard part about being  in missions I’m never going to get used to or like.

What an amazing opportunity it was to be able to bless and serve Good Seed School, but to also receive so much love and be served by the people of Cambodia.

There were planted seeds left in Cambodia and I am so eager and excited to see what the Lord has planned for Cambodia.

I’m beyond grateful for God using me as a vessel and letting me be apart of the seed planting process that has and is taking place in that school and country.

The hardest part about leaving Cambodia for me was definitely saying bye to all the friendships and connections that I made with our host, teachers and students knowing that I most likely won’t see them again. That is something that I’m still trying to remember, that my race is moving along, country by country and I’m not going back to my little house in Cambodia.

The Khmer people are such good people who just need Jesus and shown the true love of the Father. How blessed we were to be sent to Good Seed. To teach but to also be taught. The Father used lessons for others also for ourselves. We are all learning each and everyday and this is so beautiful.
